Whither Digital Humanities? – Curators meet Researchers
This workshop aims at mediating the dialogue between researchers from theater and art studies, librarians, curators, and archivists. Participants will explore the chances, benefits, and challenges of introducing digital tools into their respective fields of work. By showcasing selected eHumanities projects, Doug Reside, drawing on his expertise as Digital Curator for the Performing Arts at the New York Public Library, will demonstrate exemplary ways of incorporating computerbased image, video, audio, and textual material into research, teaching, and public scholarship.
