Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh is Associate Professor at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She previously worked at the Indian School of Business. Her research is primarily concerned with the question of how firms develop new technologies and innovate by acquiring and building on the knowledge that resides in their organizational and institutional ecosystem. She published in the Academy of Management Journal, Management Science, Organization Science, Strategy Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Research Policy. She serves as Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Journal, and Guest Editor for the Strategic Management Journal‘s Special Issue on Strategies for Platform Ecosystems.

Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh has received multiple research awards and grants and has held visiting positions at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, the Wharton School, and LMU Munich. She completed her Ph.D. at the George Washington University’s School of Business, prior to which she worked as an energy policy analyst in Washington, D.C. and New Delhi.

Gurneeta Vasudeva Singh is a member of the CAS Research Group "Platforms as Organizational Forms" of Prof. Dr. Tobias Kretschmer.
