Sage Boettcher is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford working in Kia Nobre’s Brain and Cognition Lab. Currently, she holds the Experimental Psychology Society Postdoctoral Fellowship. She is a Stipendiary Lecturer at St. Anne’s College, Oxford and a Junior Research Fellow at Kellogg College, Oxford.

Sage’s research focuses on understanding how our experiences and memories guide attention. Specifically, she is interested in how we proactively use memories from different time scales (short, medium & long-term) and from different dimensions (spatial, temporal, & identity) to guide ongoing behavior in complex and dynamic environments.

She is a Visiting Fellow in July and August 2022 in the context of the CAS Research Group „Handling Visual Distraction" led by Prof. Dr. Hermann Müller.
