Puay Peng Ho holds the UNESCO Chair on Architectural Heritage Conservation and Management in Asia and is currently Head of Department of Architecture of the School of Design and Environment at National University of Singapore. For three decades, he has pursued his interest in religious culture and its architectural forms in his multiple roles as university professor, architect, board advisor, and conservation consultant to over 100 conservation and urban planning projects in Hong Kong and Singapore. His research centers on Buddhist architecture and ritual of medieval China.

He is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in July 2022 upon invitation from Dr. Annie Chan (CAS Junior Researcher in Residence 2022).
