Sterre de Boer is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Alzheimercentrum Amsterdam, which is part of the Neurology department of Amsterdam UMC.
Her PhD aims to further unravel the cause of sporadic Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), improve diagnostics and contribute in the search of a treatment for sporadic FTD patients by comparing the genetic and sporadic variant of FTD.
She is a Visiting Fellow at CAS at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Nikolaos Koutsouleris (Medicine, LMU) and Prof. Dr. Johannes Levin (Medicine, LMU) in the context of the CAS Research Group Tools for Transnational Neuropsychiatric Research.
