Prof. Salvador Villalpando, Ph.D.

Salvador Villapando Villapando is director at the Department for Nutrition of the Center for Nutrition Research and Health at the Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
He is an internationally highly renowned expert on nutrition and public health. His research interests include amongst others maternal nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, infant nutrition and public nutrition programs.
Salvador Villapando is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from April to June 2015 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Berthold Koletzko. He will give a talk on "How obesity in children is progressing in Mexico" on 9 June at 7 p.m.
