Ruthie Abeliovich is Assistant Professor in the Theatre Department at the University of Haifa.
She teaches courses related to performance theory and theatre history.
Her research focuses on audio-visual aesthetics in 20th-century theatre, and Jewish theatre in its multilingual contexts.
Ruthie Abeliovich is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in April 2022 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Berenika Szymanski-Düll (CAS Young Center). She participates in the workshop "Theatre Migrants 1850–1918: Motivations, Trajectories, Impacts".
