Prof. Dr. Patrick McGuinness

Patrick McGuinness is Professor of French and Comparative Literature at the University of Oxford. His main research interests include 19th and 20th century French literature, especially Poetry and Theatre; French and Belgian Symbolism; Belgian Literature in French and Comparative Literature; Anglo-American Modernism and modern poetry in English.
He is at CAS in March 2023 upon the invitation of Dr. Margit Dirscherl, who is CAS Researcher in Residence at the time.
