Cosmography and Large-Scale Structure

Noam Libeskind is a faculty member and head of the Cosmography and Large-scale Structure group in the Cosmology and High-energy Astrophysics section at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam.

The work of his group focuses on galaxy formation, the Milky Way, the Local Group, cosmography and constrained simulations. The group creates maps of the Universe and uses the maps to simulate the local environment around us.

Noam Libeskind is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in February 2023 upon invitation of Dr. Klaus Dolag and will join the CAS Research Group on "Complex Views and New Clues of the Universe".
