Prof. Michela Giorcelli, Ph.D.

Michela Giorcelli is an Associate Professor of Economics at UCLA. She is an economic historian, with interests in labor economics and the economics of innovation. Her research primarily focuses on the determinants of productivity and innovation in the 20th century.

Michela Giorcelli is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in July 2023. She is a member of Prof. Dr. Florian Englmaier’s CAS Research Group “Words to Numbers”.
