Prof. Dr. Karsten Stueber

Karsten Stueber is Professor of Philosophy at the College of the Holy Cross. He is well-known internationally for his scholarship on empathy and has widely published in the areas of philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, the philosophy of the social sciences, and meta-ethics. At the moment, he is particularly interested in exploring the role of empathy for the foundations of morality.

Karsten Stueber is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in October 2022 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Monika Betzler (CAS Research Focus Empathy). On 14 and 15 October he participates in the workshop "The Philosophy of Empathy" at CAS.
