Jiří Hanuš is Professor of Humanities and teaches in the Czech Republic at Masaryk University in Brno.
He is concerned with the historiography and history of Christianity in 19th century Eastern Europe.
As part of the research focus "Political and cultural Loyalties in modern East Central Europe" Jiří Hanuš will be a guest at the Center for Advanced Studies in Munich in November 2011 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Martin Schulze Wessel.
