George Musser

George Musser is science writer and editor.

He is a contributing editor at Scientific American and Nautilus magazines and has written for Science, Nature, Quanta, Aeon, Nautilus, The New York Times and other publications. He is the author of two books on fundamental physics, Spooky Action at a Distance (2015) and The Complete Idiot's Guide to String Theory (2008). In 2011 he was awarded the American Institute of Physics Science Writing Award and in 2010 the Jonathan Eberhart Planetary Sciences Journalism Award from the American Astronomical Society. He was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT from 2014 to 2015.

George Musser is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in June and July 2023 at the invitation of Dr. Daniele Oriti (LMU/CAS Young Center) in the context of the CAS Research Focus “Foundations of Physics”.
