Anke te Heesen is Professor at the Chair of the History of Science with a focus on the formation and organization of knowledge in the 19th and 20th centuries at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Her research focuses on the history of the human sciences, natural history in the early modern period, museum and exhibition history, modes of organization and notation in the sciences, and science and art.

She is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in September 2021 as part of the CAS Research Focus "Materiality - Museology - Knowledge".
