François Lissarrague ist Professor für antike Literatur an der ANHIMA (Anthropology and History of the Ancient World) in Paris.
Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt in der Anthropologie und der Bildsprache des antiken Griechenland.
Er ist auf Einladung von Prof. Dr. Susanne Gödde von Juni bis Juli 2015 am CAS und nimmt an der Konferenz "Jean-Pierre Vernant und die Anthropologie der Antike" am 26. und 27. Juni 2015 teil.
